Loan Application Checklist

To begin your application process the documentation you will need includes:

Your Drivers License and Social Security Card
Last 2 months bank statements
Last month of pay stubs
Last two years tax returns with W2's or 1099's

Once you have decided on a home, we will need to obtain the following documents from you and your real estate agent:

Sales Contract
A copy of your Earnest Money Check (cancelled)
A check or debit card for your appraisal fee

Depending on your specific situation, your mortgage professional may ask for additional documents. This could include:

Social Security / Disability Award Letter
Explanation letter for credit report anomalies, changes in employment or address, or other special circumstances
Copy of DD Form 214 for persons applying for a VA mortgage
Divorce Decree
Marriage License if recently married
Child Support Order
Statements for retirement accounts, savings accounts, or other assets used to qualify OR statements for any accounts you want to pay off if refinancing
 
 With every mortgage, our professionals try to get the best program and rate for you with as little hassle as possible! However, every mortgage is different so your mortgage professional may ask for other documentation not listed above. For example, if you are applying for a specialty program, 12 months of utility bills may be needed to document your credit history. For a complete list of documents specific to you just give us a call or apply online and a mortgage professional will compile a list JUST FOR YOU!
